These scholarships are offered by the School of Land & Food to encourage talented students to enrol in agricultural science at the University of Tasmania. Graduates in the agricultural sciences enjoy a diverse range of career options. On graduation too, the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) offers research opportunities in many areas which have practical benefit for the state and nation.
Eligibility
Available to students who achieve an ATAR of 97 or greater and who are commencing study in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science in Semester 1, 2021. The selection committee reserves the right to offer below an ATAR of 97 in the event that there are no suitable applicants.
On-going Eligibility
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
