The University of Copenhagen has partnerships with a number of Australian universities, including the University of Tasmania. Every year in May, the University of Copenhagen awards the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship to two Australian students. The University of Tasmania will nominate one highly competent student. After the application deadline, the successful candidates will be selected, and all nominated students will be notified – usually by the end of December each year.
Eligibility
The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship is open to Bachelor’s and Master’s level University of Tasmania students from all areas of studies offered at the University of Copenhagen. The applicants must be undertaking an approved exchange program at the University of Copenhagen via the University of Tasmania's Student's Mobility team. A highly competent student who has shown a particular interest in studying at the University of Copenhagen will be nominated. The Selection Committee places great importance to the students’ extra-curricular activities, motivation for studying in Copenhagen, and academic performance. Creative and original applications are encouraged. The applicants’ academic merits and references are also considered.
Amount
DKK 10,000 (approximately A$2,100) to be used to cover various costs in connection with studying in Copenhagen
Duration
Spring semester 2023 as per the University of Copenhagen, under the auspice of the exchange agreement
