Scholarships & Bursaries

These scholarships are provided to commemorate the service and sacrifice of the Australian Merchant Navy during WWI and WWII and as a reminder to younger generations of the very significant role played by the Australian Merchant Navy, on behalf of our nation.

Available to students who can demonstrate financial need and are undertaking marine-related courses at the Australian Maritime College at undergraduate level.

Three scholarships will be allocated for Semester 1 and three for Semester 2. Applicants should be an Australian citizen or holder of a Humanitarian Visa and enrolled in one of the following courses:

• Marine-related Vocational Education and Training

• IR Training

• Master <24 metres

• Master <45 metres

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Marine Engineering); or

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Nautical Science)
