Costa is Australia’s largest grower, packer and marketer of premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables. In Tasmania, Costa operations are located in the North-West of the state and involve the growing of blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries. Costa wishes to support scholarships at the University of Tasmania to encourage excellence in the area of Agriculture.

Available to a student from the North of Tasmania commencing a full-time undergraduate degree in Agriculture. Mentoring and work placement opportunities with Costa may be available for the successful applicant. Selection will be based on academic merit and potential to succeed.

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.

$10,000 per year

Up to four years
