A number of bursaries are offered by the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) to encourage students from interstate to enrol in agricultural science at the University of Tasmania and to assist with relocation expenses. Graduates in the agricultural sciences enjoy a diverse range of career options. On graduation too, TIA offers research opportunities in many areas which have practical benefit for the state and nation.
Available to domestic students with an ATAR of 65+ relocating from interstate to commence study in one of the following courses at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2020 for the first time: Bachelor of Agricultural Science (73M); or Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture and Business) (P3K).
The bursary will commence in the first semester of study.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
There is no requirement to apply for this bursary as students will be automatically assessed during the University Admission process. However, you are invited to submit an application prior to the normal closing date of 31 October 2019 in order to apply for any other scholarship or bursary for which you may be eligible.
