Outstanding Achiever Scholarship - Centre for Maritime Engineering

The Centre for Maritime Engineering & Hydrodynamics, Australian Maritime College (AMC), is offering a number of scholarships to recognise students who achieve high tertiary entrance scores and who are enrolling for the first time at the AMC in maritime engineering.

 

Eligibility

Scholarships will be awarded to domestic students who have achieved an Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) of 95 or above, or IB37 or above in 2022, and who are commencing their first year of study in any undergraduate level degree maritime engineering programme offered by the Centre for Maritime Engineering & Hydrodynamics, in Semester 1, 2023.

International students with an Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) awarded in 2022, as outlined above, are welcome to apply but will need to provide proof of ATAR rank.

On-going Eligibility

To retain this award recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.

Amount

$10,200.

The scholarship will contribute to the first year of the on-campus accommodation costs in any UTAS accommodation. To be eligible, students must apply for accommodation with University Accommodation Services http://www.utas.edu.au/accomm/future-residents/apply and cover the application fee and bond (these costs are NOT covered by this scholarship).

PLUS recipients will receive $2,000 towards educational costs.
