Make the most of these career opportunities by studying the Bachelor of Engineering (Specialisation) with Honours (Co-operative Education) delivered through the Australian Maritime College (AMC), University of Tasmania.
This bursary has been developed for those students residing interstate who will be relocating to Tasmania to study at the AMC.
The Bachelor of Engineering (Specialisation) with Honours (Co-operative Education) is an integrated approach to higher education, which enables motivated students to combine post-secondary studies with practical experience in their chosen field. Student can enjoy access to world-class research facilities at Australia’s national institute when undertaking periods of full-time study and will alternate this with full-time, paid, productive employment in the defence sector or related industries.
Choose from three specialisations: Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or Marine and Offshore Engineering.
A number of bursaries are available.
Available to domestic students with a permanent home address interstate, who are relocating to Tasmania to commence study in the Bachelor of Engineering (Specialisation) (Co-operative Education) with Honours (P4G) in Semester 1, 2020.
Please note: This scholarship can be held together with the Women in Maritime Engineering, Excellent Achiever or Outstanding Achiever Scholarships if the recipient meets the eligibility requirements of both the Relocation Bursary and the Women in Maritime Engineering, Excellent Achiever or Outstanding Achiever Scholarship.
This scholarship is NOT available to current students who wish to transfer to the co-operative education course.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
There is no requirement to apply for this bursary as students will be automatically assessed during the University Admission process. However, you are invited to submit an application prior to the normal closing date of 31 October 2019 in order to apply for any other scholarship or bursary for which you may be eligible.
