Established in 1992, the Clifford Craig Foundation is a health promotion charity that supports the Launceston General Hospital, the tertiary referral hospital for North and North-West Tasmania. The purpose of the Foundation is to improve the health of the community that it serves through the provision of funding for innovative medical research, education of health professionals, funding of medical equipment and patient facilities within the hospital. The Foundation generously supports an annual Honours scholarship to enable Medical students to undertake research activity through the Launceston General Hospital.
Eligibility
Available to students commencing an Honours research program in 2023 at the Launceston Clinical School. Selection will be based on the applicant undertaking an approved honours research project and demonstration of excellent academic achievement in their undergraduate studies.
On-going Eligibility
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
