The Tasmanian School of Business & Economics (TSBE) offers a curriculum that is driven by leading-edge research in business and economics, and the future needs of business, industry and professional bodies. TSBE’s curriculum is delivered using contemporary teaching approaches, and offers a range of authentic work integrated learning experience with a strong grounding in modern business practices.
TSBE has established these bursaries to encourage Tasmanian students to pursue studies in the Bachelor of Economics Program on the Hobart campus. This bursary is to assist with the costs associated with relocation. A number of awards are available.
Available to Tasmanian domestic students (i.e. students with a permanent residential address in Tasmania at the time of application), who are commencing full time study in Hobart in 2021 in the Bachelor of Economics (B3B) degree, or a combined degree with Economics. To be eligible, students are required to relocate to study OR have a residential address 50 km or more from the Sandy Bay campus and be travelling to campus for classes.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
