This scholarship is generously provided by the Bruce Wall Estate. Mr Bruce Wall was a significant member of the farming industry in Tasmania. He applied latest methods and practices on his farm, “Lake House” at Cressy and, with his knowledge and experience, he enjoyed success as a breeder of Corriedale sheep, Poll Hereford cattle and commercial cattle. This award is offered as part of the University of Tasmania Access Scholarship program.
Available to a Tasmanian student who is commencing an undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2021. Selection will be based on demonstration of financial need. Preference will be given to a student from northern Tasmania.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
$5,000 per year
Up to four years (does not include separate one-year Honours course)
