TasNetworks Women in Information and Communication Technology Scholarship

TasNetworks is a Tasmanian State-owned corporation that supplies power from the generation source to homes and business throughout the state. It was formed through a merger of Aurora Energy’s distribution low voltage network and TasNetworks high voltage network and commenced operations on 1 July 2014. TasNetworks wishes to support a scholarship at the University of Tasmania.



Available to a female student entering Year 2 or 3 of the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology in Semester 1, 2022. Selection will be based on academic merit and quality of written application. Work experience opportunities with TasNetworks may be available to the successful applicant.

On-going Eligibility

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a Credit (5.0/7.0) cumulative grade point average (CGPA) at the end of each semester.
