This Scholarship was established in memory of John McKillop by Speech Pathology Tasmania (SPT) in memory of John's life and its goodness. John was the husband of one of SPTs beloved team members, Linda McKillop. And the father of three of SPT's dear friends, his and Linda's children, Nicole, Nathan and Alexander. The scholarship is offered in love of these four and in honour of the man, John, and the life he led. It was a life of humble faithfulness to the tender and enriching value of family, education, healthy living, independent choice, and deep knowledge of self-worth. This memorial scholarship honours all these things in John McKillop; and seeks to support the richness of these things in the lives of its recipients.
