The University of Tasmania has a deep connection with Vietnam through our commitment to working with the Vietnamese on research collaborations in the areas of forestry and agriculture, aquaculture and rural health. Along with our proud history of hosting hundreds of Vietnamese students with many returning to Vietnam to contribute to their home country.

In honour of the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Australia and Vietnam we are excited to announce a limited number of 50% tuition scholarships in 2023 will be offered.

Eligibility

Available to new Vietnamese students who are commencing a full-time bachelor or master by coursework degree for the first time at the University of Tasmania in 2023.

Selection will be based on meeting the minimum entry requirements and quality of written application.

On-going Eligibility

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a pass in their units. Recipients must remain enrolled at the campus at which they have been offered the scholarship. A recipient must notify the Scholarships Office immediately if there is any change to their course or campus. At least 75% of all studies must be undertaken on campus.
