Fruit Growers Tasmania, the peak body representing the interests of the State's apple, pear, berry and stone fruit industries, will support a student whose project will further improve the technical capacity and value of these industries to Tasmania.

Available to a student studying Honours whose research will further improve the technical capacity, business outcomes and/or agricultural value of Tasmania’s fruit industries. This project can be undertaken within any study area at the University, with preference given to students whose research show a relevant link to the fruit industry.

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
