Dunbabin Scholarship

These scholarships have been endowed by a bequest from Professor R L Dunbabin, a member of teaching staff at the University of Tasmania from 1901 to 1939 to assist students with travel to conduct research overseas. There are up to two awards to be made available per year if funds are sufficient.



Available to Honours and postgraduate students enrolled or enrolling in study in Classics in Semester 1, 2020. The award is for use as a travel grant for the purpose of conducting research overseas. The proposed study or related program must be supported in writing by the Classics Honours Coordinator or supervisor. Applicants' academic record and progress will be considered as part of the selection process. Applicants must provide a full itinerary and costings for airfares and accommodation in their application.
