Scholarships & Bursaries

This generous scholarship results from a bequest to the University by the late Mrs Irene Ciezar and is intended to assist recent medical graduates to undertake an approved course of postgraduate study in the United Kingdom in the broad field of cardiovascular medicine.

Available to medical graduates of the University of Tasmania of not more than nine years standing to undertake an approved course of postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. Applicants are required to provide curriculum vitae, including details of their postgraduate experience, their proposed field and subject of study in cardiovascular medicine and the names of two referees familiar with their work.

A$50,000 per year plus return economy airfare to United Kingdom from nearest capital city.
