Eligibility
Available to students who have completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania, or another Australian university, and who will be commencing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or equivalent honours in a Social Sciences or Creative Arts program at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2021. Applications will be assessed on the following criteria: (a) results achieved at undergraduate level; (b) evidence of initiative, research skills and general aptitude of the applicant as provided by the referees; (c) evidence of research strength in line with the College's research capacity and strength as provided by the research proposal (see the advertised projects for Humanities, Social Sciences and Creative Arts, http://www.utas.edu.au/research/degrees/available-phd-projects); and (d) availability of an appropriate supervisor and the capacity of the School to provide support for the proposed project.

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
