Harold Carroll Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is provided from a fund established by the late Harold Carroll, a retired grazier, to provide scholarships for deserving students educated in Devonport.
Available to a student who has been educated in Devonport and is commencing study in any course at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2020. The selection committee will be seeking a student who: without the help of a scholarship might not be able to afford to go to university (particularly those who receive no other assistance such as Youth Allowance); is of good character and likely to be successful at University; has already contributed to the community, or is likely to contribute to the community of Devonport over the longer term. In your application you should ensure that you detail how you meet the criteria for the award.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
