Scholarships & Bursaries

This bursary is provided from the estate of the late Hedley Lux Gregg, who was a farmer from Campania in southern Tasmania. His generosity in giving to the University provides bursaries in Agricultural Science and Medicine at the University of Tasmania.

Available to a full-time student entering Year 4 or Year 5 of the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2023. The bursary is for medicine students who need assistance to complete their degree. Selection is based on financial need as well as evidence of academic ability.

To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.

$2,000 per year

Up to two years

Applicants who apply for Support to Study will be automatically assessed for this award.
